FAQ

Question:

Is there a large fridge to keep the booze cold?

Answer:

For guests joining us for the weekend alcohol can be consumed at leisure apart from the Saturday where table wine and a celebratory glass of something delish will be available. There is a bar from around 1.00pm until 12 midnight to quench your thirst.

We ask all guests to respect the agreement we have with our suppliers

Question:

If we stay locally, how do we get back to our accomadation?

Answer:

As the manor house is situated down a long single track there won't be passing taxi's!

We recommend leaving your ride at Ash barton, we will arrange a number of local mini buses/taxis to take you back to your pad and then collect you again the next day to retrieve your car/van.

What we will need is numbers and where you are staying in order to organise and negotiate price, please let me know by adding a comment on the Transport & Travel page or by using the contact us page

Question:

Are children invited?

Answer:

Unfortunately the guest list is limited and we are unable to invite guests children to our wedding, we hope you can enjoy the day child free, drink free wine and get hammered without them :-)

Question:

If I'm lucky enough to stay at Ash Barton do I need to bring bedding or towels?

Answer:

The house is beautifully appointed with cotton sheets, duvets and fluffy towels. If you are visting the beach or using the heated pool then a beach towel will be needed.

Question:

Is there Wi-fi?

Answer:

Yes Alex there is Wi-fi!

Question:

Are Dogs welcome?

Answer:

Well behaved dogs are welcome. We have stables and kennels for them to sleep in and they have the run of the estate. However, dogs are not permitted inside the house, and Ruth will be cross if they get hair on her dress!
